Default Mean City Cycle modification question.

Considering sending my seat to MCC and have the riding position lowered 1 1/2 inch with the memory foam added. If you have had a touring seat lowered please tell me how much and if you had memory foam added. Are you comfortable with it? I have concern that taking it down 1 1/2 inch even with memory foam might be too much, leaving not enough foam for a comfortable seat.

Had Alan with MCC lower me 1.5 inches and move me back 1.5 inches. I chose the double decker memory foam. Very comfortable. 400 mile days with no issues. In addition, had him modify pax seat with double decker memory foam as well (no change to height) . GF loves it.

I also had that done - needed it to flat foot my Ultra. In my experience it did somewhat compromise ride comfort. Overall, pleased with the MCC mod, though.
