Default Trike into 2 wheeler

I resonantly got a 2005 Electra Glide Classic with a champion trike kit. The bike has 6,500 miles and runs great. I have found I miss having 2 wheels but I love the rest of the bike. I was thinking about converting it back to a 2 wheeled motorcycle. Has anyone done this before?

How it looks now.

Maybe something like this on the rear end.

The parts I think I need are...
swingarm=
Kickstand=
rim=
tire=
brakes=
fender= http://www.jpcycles.com/product/161-976
saddlebags= http://www.jpcycles.com/product/831-450
saddlebag lids= http://www.jpcycles.com/product/362-787 and http://www.jpcycles.com/product/711-681 and http://www.jpcycles.com/product/830-0036
brackets= http://www.jpcycles.com/product/840-295 and http://www.jpcycles.com/product/831-912

All said and done I think I would have near $5000.00 to switch it over. I would then have to find a buy for the trike part.

JMHO, but I think you should consider selling it and buying a two-wheeler, or perhaps trading up a few years with someone wishing to go to the three-wheel world!

Trikes have great trade-in value and lots of us older riders are going that way.

I wouldn't change anything on that trike.

It looks great as it is!

dollar wise it makes no sense.
Sell it and buy a nicer bike with the money.
No need to fork out $5K, and save a lot of labor, unless you just
want to do it for kicks I guess.
I have no heard of anyone doing it yet.

Keep it and buy another bike! Problem solved. I have kicked my self in the *** on every bike I traded or sold. You will want this one back someday.

There is a great market for new/used trikes. Selling yours should be easy.

You have a nice trike, somebody will want it. Just unload it on a new happy owner, and buy what you want, and the world will be a happier place for everybody.

You would be so much more ahead of the game by selling your trike, then buying what you want.
Trike has a special value even being a 2005 to someone that wants a trike. There are a lot of 2005 two wheeled on the market in great shape at a low price if you shop right.
