Got a 2015 RGS. ..is there a better cams then stock for down low...bike is fast just seems has no power down low like taking off. ..once u hit 2000 and up its fine it's getting to 2000 is the problem
=====================
Regularly running at or below 2k rpm is lugging it & not good for the compensator and or drive train in general either.
And if you did install cams to make more trq & power below 2k rpm the motor would fall on its face being all done making power at 4k-4,200rpm or so.
I have no trouble with the power the bike is very fast for what it is..I'm mostly in the 4000 rpm range the issue is taking off bike just seems to be heavy u have to give it a lot of gas if not u hear the clutch make a noise...to me it just is not smooth on take off needs way to much gas on launch. .maybe my idle is to low who knows...it feels like ur taking off in second gear mayb

You hear the noise because you lugging the motor then giving it throttle in too high of a gear at too low of rpm making the drivetrain fight back making noise!
YOU BIKE IS HEAVY!!/LOL!!!!
STOP LUGGING THE CRAP OUT OF THE MOTOR @ 2K RPM OR LESS !
THATS BECAUSE OVER TIME YOU MAY EVENTUALLY DAMAGE THE COMPENSATOR/TRANS/CLUTCH /MAYBE EVEN LOWER END OF MOTOR BECAUSE IT SHAKES/VIBRATES THE HECK OUT OF THE MOTOR/DRIVETRAIN WHEN LUGGING MOTOR IN TOO HIGH OF A GEAR @ TOO LOW OF RPM WHEN GETTING ON THE THROTTLE.
Yea sounds good. The bikes plenty fast it's just heavy u have to give it a lot of gas to get going..I did here guys trying the trike pulley for a drop extra
The gearing sucks........too high,you can get torque multiplication through lower gearing
Get a Baker DD7 ( i have it and love it).
Evolution-idustries 49 tooth clutch basket
Baker 30 tooth pulley ( forget the heavy rusty trike pulley) and new belt
Rivera Primo 32 tooth comp sprocket
If you havent gotten a good tune / tuner and a pair of low restriction mfflers, you missed the boat. I'd recommend Khromewerks Hp plus 4" touring mufflers for good low/ midrange power. If you really want a low end cam then the new TTS 100 is for you......it's a motorcyle,not a diesel truck.......

I would really like more guys to ride a bike equipped with the TTS-100 cams. Most just assume that they are low end only cams, they are not. I don't care about the specs, I have ridden them. They are a great all around set.
Thanks for ur help the bikes pretty fast right now I think I'm just have to get used to its heavier then my last bike and need to adjust...I don't lug the bike at all I'm all ways in the power band I think once I do a tune and head pipe I'll be good just have dnt slipons right now I'll look into full motos head pipe
