If you do leave it outside, and the paint turns to sh*t, just tell everyone it's a new color... white denim.

I stored my ultra last winter in a 6x10 trailer. I used a small 1500/750 watt 2 speed electric heater. NO sweat or moisture. Kept the bike at about 40 degrees and dry. Dan

Bite the bullet on other toys and go for the house with garage. The house is an investment... The motorcycle is a ... errr.. NOT an investment. LOL

I used a Wells Cargo trailer set up for motorcycles until I had a Tuffshed built. Here's a web site that I checked out while looking at trailer's. Its called a CycleShell...looks like something you should think about. www.cycleshell.com

Get a wooden shed at Lowes...I had one of these years ago when I didn't have a garage...you can put a lock on it too. They look pretty good nowadays too.

Peace,

Mine gets dusty enough in the garage over the winter. I could not think how bad it would get out side. I did years ago live in an appartment went on a ship deployment (10 mos. long) and had a cheapo cover on a Honda GL500I and the damn cover was stolen. The bike was still there when I returned from sea, but was totally covered with rust.

Get a friend with a garage or barn at least and get that bike under cover.

I would not sleep indoors with mine out side at night. I hate taking it out ona road trip, never get any sleep at a hotel either.

Good luck with it.

Uh uh, no way, never happen. Had a dirt bike walk off the one time I lived in a place I left it outside. I would at least buy a shed of some sort. Preferably big enough to work on the bike inside. When I lived in SC I had a 12'X16' wooden shed I kept a GSXR 750 and a YZ250 dirt bike in. Plenty of room and a window A/C unit for cool, low humidity maintenance. Now I roast my @$$ off in south Texas working on my Road King in a 2 car garage with a pool table in the way. I miss that shed.

While it does not bother me to leave her out when on a trip, there is no way I would go for extended outside storage.

I have a heated garage, a friend puts his in his apartment and some take advantage of dealer storage. I like the looks of the "cycle barn" ezlife posted. If one had the yard space it would do. Or a trailer as others have mentioned.
