21" dna fat spokes leaky valve stem??
My rim has developed a leak coming from valve stem area..i am clueless on whether the tire i have on is tubeless or not..the nut that screws on and tightens to rim was loose and i tightened which seemed to slow leak a bit but still bubbles up on me..my local shop i called the guy asked if tire was tubeless otherwise big problem on spoke rims? What are my options? Thx

What needs done is the tire has to be removed from the rim or at least broken down and the valve stem removed and sealed with sealant where it goes through the rim. Once that is done you will be fine. If the stem is attached with a double nut then its tubeless. I also have DNA wheels and they come with that metal valve stem, which is a great stem but just needs sealed before mounting the tire.

The rim and tire is about 2 years old and I bought it from a shop that had the setup sitting around so I am clueless as to if it's tubed or not? I really can't tighten that nut down to rim anymore and i I actually had to grind down a socket to fit in between spokes to get over valve to snug,which seemed to slow leak but it is definatly still bubbling up around valve opening
