Default Front fork noise on 2014 CVO?

So I picked up a used 2014 CVO Road King with under 500 miles on it the other day. Great bike. Super comfortable and I can't get over the looks.... Anyway, I was wondering if any of you may have some insight on a strange noise I am hearing. At first I thought it may be the floating rotor noise some have experienced but it sounds more like it's coming from the fork tubes or headlight bucket. It's definitely a clunk when I go over bumps and even going over the small transition from the road to my driveway at 2mph. Not near as loud due to the slow speeds but I can hear it. But what stumps me most when I sit on the driveway on the hill facing up the area where the clunk seems to come from it actually vibrates the clunk noise. I also can hear it while driving at show speeds with the RPM's around 2k. Now I'm thinking it may require a trip back to the dealership?

Thanks for any insight you all may have.

Thanks.

T

Check and re-torque all the tank bolts.

If it were the forks making the noise it would only happen when they bottom out, not on small bumps.

I'd go ahead and do the 1,000 service if it has the original oil in it. Like OldEnuf says check the tank bolts and all the other fasteners on the 1K list. Can you sit on it while it's off and push down on the forks and hear it?

Do you have the manual? if not I can send you specs.

No service manual nor owners manual, "yet". The dealer ordered me the owners manual as the bike didn't have one in the bags. It seems that I can rock the bike a bit and fully extend the front forks and I can hear a knock?. It's a different sound though or so I think?. I should see if the dealer has the records on the bike to see if it still has the original oil in it. My guess would be yes, in which case it's over two years old.

Thanks,

T
