I need to find out the
location of the ignition coil for a friend of mine . I think his bike is a 03.Roadking. He has no clue of how to do anything on his bike so he asked me. And no I dont have a service manual. for his bike .Thanks guys
if you are going to do him a favor- get a service manual.
the tips in there will pay for it the first time out.
I don;t know your skill level, but going at the ignition system without an understanding of how it works ( never mind where the components are), can blow the system....which coul dbe why he is having trouble now.
The specs and checks for the coil are in the manual

Hmmm.If someone can't find the ignition coil or coils on a two cylinder gasoline engine, does that someone really need to know where it may be?

Well yeah, but understanding how an engine works is a little different than not knowing where they hid the ignition coil.
And yes a Service manual is ideal but Google / You Tube is a great help too. (I haven't owned a manual for over 10 years. The information is out there.)

C'mon, isn't this a case for Captain Oblivious? The guy can't follow the wire to the other end??? Before I went to super coils it was pretty obvious to where the coil was, it's hardly hidden at all. Just bend down and look! If it were a snake it would bite ya!!
I wonder where he puts his gas cap when fueling??
Sorry but I couldn't help the rant, but sometimes things make me wonder...
