Hi was wondering if anyone can help 2011 streetglide went to start battery dead just getting clicking put a battery charger on said battery was really low so was charging and within 10 mins it was saying charged i was like now way the battery is charged i went to start bike it started and was charging over 14 volts shut it off and tried to start and was clicking again so figured battery has had it. just for the hell of it i went to see if i had any codes PSSPT under S i am getting 61122 i can even find that code anywhere.Anybody have any idea what that is?Going to get a load test done on battery.Thx in advance
after you pick up your new battery ( or order a big crank from batterymart- about $100 to your door), charge it with a charger ( not a tender) overnight
before you install it, take out the maxifuse and take the time to check your battery cables are tight and clean at the other ends.
hook up the battery ( + first, then -) and install the maxifuse.
when running the charging system will usually put out closer to 12 volts at idle...closer to 14 at 2500 rpms and never any more than 14.8 volts.
