Rk handlebar cable lengths

Some years ago I installed some wild one chubby 518's on my 2002 roadking classic. I used 3 in. longer cables and extended the wiring,for a nice fit. I would now like to switch to chubby apes without changing the cables. Does anyone know how tall I can go without changing the cables again. I would like to go with the 10 or 12 in. apes.

I was told 10" by a couple of members here last year when I was doing my apes.

Thanks Warbird40, that's what I thought. Love my 518's but it's time for a change.

I did 10" Wild ones mini apes (W0515), and kept all of my stock cables, but had to extend
the wiring, I did 8 inches for future expansion.
If you have already extended the cables by 3", you should be able to go a little higher
than 10's, 12's should be fine.
The W0502 12.5 mini apes should fit just fine.
