Anyone have any experience with a Mini Beast air horn literally falling apart? I had mine 3 years (give or take) and it fell apart; one of the horns fell off the bracket and there is no way to reattach it. Custom Dynamics says it's out of warranty and won't stand behind what seems like a poor design or bad fabrication. I would have expected this to last for years and years. If nothing else, this can serve as a review of their product and customer service.
I've had one on each of my last 3 Harley touring bikes going back to 2006 and never a problem with any of them over the years. It was always a good selling point in a private sale when I got ready for a new bike. I bought the horn I have now from CD; the others from Pro-Pad, although I don't see horns on their site anymore. It may be that the mini-beast was an acquisition by CD in the recent past.

Custom Dynamics bought our ProPad.
I agree....I bought this based on reviews I read, which makes me believe mine has a defect. I was not able to convince them of that, though.
That's a tough break, but is Custom Dynamics customer service responsible? The horn carried a warranty, but it had expired. Seems unreasonable to me to bash them. After all, they didn't build it.

Comes with a 3-year warranty and it's that old. It's not like it is 5 years old or older. I've had Harley and Kuryakin work with me and other people I know when it appears there's a design or fabrication issue, which this looks like to me. Custom Dynamics didn't want to work with me at all. You're right that they didn't HAVE to do anything, but most companies want satisfied customers when their product fails unexpectedly. I didn't otherwise "bash" them. All I stated was the facts; you are free to draw your own conclusion.
I think they redesigned it. Maybe this is the faulty version. I was considering a mini beast but not sure now. Chinese child labor ain't what it used to be.
