Default 2001 ultra classic value

Hi all I purchased a 2001 Ultra Classic in May and would really like to get a 2013 or 2014 limited or classic so considering selling 2001. I see the retail value is between $8800 and $9300 on kbb and nada. Just wondering what realistically more experienced Harley owners think I could get

Some more info:
FLHTCUI Model
Almost 100k on the clock but runs great
A lot of extra chrome
All service intervals met
Very good condition but does have a few small blemishes that can be expected with a bike this age
Had 80k service that replaced the cams and tensioners
Front tire half rear 25%
7 inch LRS light smoke shield with a 12 inch clear stock too
I live in Iowa so the riding season is approaching the end
Attached is a pic when I got it and still looks about the same

Thanks in advance

'retail' means from a store...where they may have legal obligations and liabilities to ensure the condition of the bike...at the very least they washed it. and the price of the bike reflects the cost to turn on the lights and pay the staff.

also on kbb you'll see trade in value.

a good private party price is usually a little more than 1/2 way between trade in and retail.

but a 100k bike is going to be hard to sell.
it is at the age and mileage where the entire chassis needs bushing and bearings and the mechanical service life is coming to an end. The wiring could be shaking itself apart.

maybe you have a big pile of rec'ts showing work done to it, motor work aside from the cams such as brakes, EFI servicing, fuel lines, injectors etc

the bike looks great...maybe $6000...offers for $4500.
whoever buys it ( or if you keep it) could be looking at thousands in fixes in the next few years

terminology- usually "classic" refers to the FLHTC model which is no longer offered.

you have an "Ultra" FLHTCU ( sometimes appended I from when EFI was an option)

I figure when I sell my 2000 EG Standard -- if I can get 1,500 I would be doing good. It will be well over 120,000 miles by then.
