OK,, this is driving me a little nuts... How do We use the Intercom ONLY with NO radio??? also when I plug in - have gone to set up and COMM - we get Music AND intercom - music will not reduce when we talk... Plus, I lost vol control for my headset?? been reading the book and trying to learn the screen?? making it harder than it should be??
Figured out my problem - the Radio volume can NOT be adj while the MIC on the intercom is open... What I had done was to adj the VOX all the way up to have it open all the time, just testing and getting the learning curve... Well, with the mic open and I adj the vol or the passanger adj the vol - we were ONLY adj the vol of the intercom - by adj the VOX down to were it ONLY opens the Intercom Mic by talking or sound...
With the mic closed - hitting the Vol - now adj the radio volume only... OR just adj the radio volume all the way to the left and its OFF
So,,, in the bottom of the screen you have INT in a box -
If its Black in a white outlined box ---- adj volume of radio or Media
if its WHITE - then the Intercom is open and adj the vol ONLY voice between rider and passanger..
In testing at first, I had the vol of the radio UP and the VOX open all the way... no matter how high I adj the Intercom volume - the radio still blasted in our ears - drove me nuts (short trip, lol)
Like most computer things,,, once you know what buttons to press - easy...
If this is buried in the BOOK - LOL.....
Bottom line - finally figured out how to ride without the radio on -
