Yeah, I agree, but V&H advertises them as "blue proof" so I was surprised when I noticed the bluing right from the get-go. Here's a pic of what the bluing on my pipes looks like:

Think I am going to go with a screaming eagle stage 1 and the screaming eagle tuner. That will save me a trip to the dealer for a generic download, plus I can get both thru Kutter for less than $350
