Default Anyone done this?

Looking at possibly doing the Stage IV street compliant kit on my 103 and possibly using the TW-777 cams instead of the 259E. Im looking for more torque from about 2000 rpm up to 4000. Would the Woods cams get me there more so than the SE259? Thanks for input.

If you are wanting power in that range I would recommend the 222 cams instead. The 777's make their power a little higher in the rpm range.

if you are looking for performance use other than HD- bang for buck they are not even close.

for instance the FM107 is better than 10% across the board for similar cost, there are also other suppliers

If staying compliant is your driver- you have to stay with the recommended cams.

The Stage IV kit includes the TB, CNC ported heads, HD clutch spring, 10.5/ 1 HC pistons, 259 cams, pushrods, gaskets for $1655.00 from Kutter Harley.

As Mike suggests, either stay compliant with the stock kit, or go aftermarket. There are several shops over in the Tech Engine section who can do wonders, including Scott at Hillside Cycles, an expert on Woods cams. He will be able to give you advise on using any of them.
