I ride 2-up a lot and I would defer the overall ride quality to the little lady whom will tell you how much more comfortable the ride is. If she is comfortable I am good with it. She didn't pay for them (or know what I paid for anything) she has no vested interest other than comfort. If you ride solo most of the time your mileage may vary.

Well said.
When you have 2-3 inches of travel and hit a square edged pothole, bump, or otherwise that is close to that, there's only so much a shock can do.

Michigan roads may very well be some of the worst in the nation around Metro Detroit.

I never expected any kind of shock to soak up our roads, just make it "better".
They have...absolutely.

I think it was around July or August.

I think that was the time frame. You can call DJ or George and ask for sure. From what was explained to me is they softened up the initial damping to give the ride a softer feel.
