Default 21" Tire mileage

I am tossing the idea around of going with a 21 on my 15 ultra classic.
For those with 21" wheels , what brand and size tire are you using ? How many miles are you getting out of the 21" ? I am especially curious about using the 21" break out tire.
.

10k seems a bit low.

I purchased a PM wheel with Mez tire at Bikes Blues and BBQ in Sept of 2014. It now has 10K+ on it. Looking pretty thin now. Will change before riding season this next spring. Thats several K's less than I was getting out of the 18" fronts on the OEM wheel of my SG. I plan on going with a Michelin Commander II for the next one. Hopefully it will get a few more K's. But if not, I'm still happy with this setup. Bike looks much better and I think even rides a little better.

i got 10k on michelin commander II and it still looks pretty much the same as when i put it on. i use Ride On tire sealant for balancing. i had a MCII on the back as well but it wore funny so i swapped it out for the Dunlop American Elite.

Avon Cobras here...rear lasts 8-10K and one front will last thru 2 rears.

I have the Dunlop that goes on the breakout. 1st is allows you to ride with a 21" wheel and doesn't affect the ABS. I only have a little over 5k on it, but it still looks new. Just finished riding in a rain storm with no issues. I will get well over 12k with this setup.

Thanks , I was gonna ask about the abs next. I gotta start shopping for wheels. I would like to go spokes on the front and solid in the rear 21/16 combo.

That is the exact setup I have. 21/16 rides well, I also went with the premium mono tube cartridge it will help stabilize the bike.
