I am happy with my 2003 FLHTCUI, and after the Rushmores came out, I didn't like the changes to the Batwing. I didn't think I would ever see a Rushmore that made me lust after it.
Found one today. No way I would spend that kind of money ($41,067) on a bike, but hopefully in a few years. I could get a used one.
Nice to have something to daydream about.
In a few years time you could have circumnavigated the globe a couple of times! There's a pop song about not putting off something you value. Jus' sayin'.....
Is this really you Ron? You gotta' stay away from Dealerships!
It is pretty (but I'd buy 3 garage queens first.)
I was up in Minocqua, WI while my wife and daughter were spending my toy money, at the caterer for her wedding. I didn't want to hear the details, so I stopped at Northwoods Harley, and there she was.
I told my wife and daughter to plan the wedding without me, and just tell me where and when to be. And what to wear. Lot less stress that way.

Hey there Ron. That IS a beautiful bike. Does the $41k include the bow? You could always call the wife and daughter and tell them the wedding budget just decreased by $41,000. The good news is that someone will buy it. There wouldn't be used bikes on the market if someone didn't buy them new first. No harm looking, though.
Congratulations on your daughter's forthcoming nuptials.
Reminds me of a friend from medical school. After graduation:
1. Wife got pregnant.... girl
2. One year later wife got pregnant.... girl
He was a jock and wanted a boy
3. Wife got pregnant again.... twin girls. He finally gave up on a son. He's going broke on weddings.
They had one just like that at the dealer when I picked up my new RGU. It is very, very nice. It's also not worth anywhere close to $42,000.
Well, I am sure you could build a faster RGU, for that money. But it isn't going to hold it's value like the CVOs. And even things like the engine casings are nicer on the CVO. Just a really nice, clean looking bike. Obviously, I don't think it is worth it, or I would buy it.
