First post to the Touring section. I just picked up my new SG. I'm wondering if any of you'all that have long beards found a cure for it whipping back up in your face? I never had a problem on the NT but on this one MAN!!! it starts to sting....
I think the fork baffle from HD may help, as some smokers seem to find the baffle beneficial from keeping ashes out of the face and eyes....welcome to the forum!!

Thanks.
I feel your pain man.
I've got a Road King Standard and my beard beats the hell outta me too when the windsheld ison.
I know this is not a solution for you and your SG, butI just removed the windshield on my RK and Bam! problem solved.
On longer trips where the windshield will be on, I'll probably tie the damn thing with a rubber band. I'd rather slap a rubber band on it than cut it off (I like being an overweight version of my Avatar!.... [:@]....Who doesn't love Rasputin?! )
lowers and side air baffles. Didnt do the fork baffle cause its not adjustable for quick adjusting like other two items. combined they cut way down on ashes in the eyes[:@]
i've got an ultra and i have the same prob , i heard about those fork baffles, (i think i will try ) , I have the windshield and the side deflectors so i guess thats the only other thing to try
