Just installed the Street Glide rear fender valance on my Road Glide.
It came vivid black, put it on the orange bike just to see what it looked like.
Leave it black or paint it orange to match the bike? I think if it was orange it would make the bike look lower.
I kinda like it black. It doesn;t look too out of place, since the bike has black accent stripes already.
BTW ~ nutt'n better thansome ballsout Sprint Car racing! It's a shame the WoO's has all but fizzled. We've watched them for close to 15 years. THe first WoO's race I ever saw was at a 1/4 mile track & Doug Wolfgang broke in his heat race. He started last in something like the F-feature and won his way into the A.... and ..... you guessed it... WON that too! ahhhhh, the good'ole daze!
Thanks.....I hear ya on the Sprint Car racing!! I drove for 10 years, ran alot local and with the All Stars....it was the only thing better than sex!!
I had to give it up cause of a crash injury and cost. The bike does come close to taking it's place though.
I still go to the races around Ohio when I can.
Looks good I have a riding buddy that did the same thing, I didn't think I would like it but I do. He also put the little flip up lights at the rear of his hard bags, he left these black also on an orange RG.
Hey SPrint 12, looks good, you ever been to Raceway 7, pretty good dirt track, mostly late models but occaisionally the sprints show up.
I too drove for about 10 years, asphalt though, and figure eight. Was track champion two years in the eight....hafta be half nuts to do that week in and week out (this was before the rules to play nice, if someone was in the way, you took them out !)
Nope, never ran there. Ran over there in eastern Ohio a few times...tri-city, sharon. Mostly ran Attica, Fremont Flag City, Eldora.
Was the Sprint Car track champion at Flag City in 97..........MAN I sure do miss it!!
Ran an asphalt late model back when I was 18 at Toledo speedway for 2 years....liked the dirt much better.
