I have got to replace the stock speakers on my 2005 Ultra. I have been told Hog Tunes is the way to go. I would like some feed back from all of you. Also if I go with the four speakers from Hog Tunes I am told they are so good I probably will not neeed an amp. I have V&H slip ons and bolt in cams. She talks to you but is not straight pipe loud.
Welcome to the forums. Not sure aboutif a amp is needed, but I can tell you from what I have read I also am fixen to order front & rear Hogtune speakers
I have had both the "Hog Tunes" and the "Old style J&M" and both were great. I can say that "If you go with Hog Tunes" Pez will work with you if you want to buy the Amp later. I don't think J&M offers an amp. I would only assume that J&M will work with the amp. I don't know for sure, but would assume. Either speaker that you go with will be a upgrade over the stock speakers.
I've had HogTunes for about a month now and I'm really happy with them. I installed all four. The improved sound is most noticeable while cruising. That might sound like an obvious thing to say, but when I first tried them in the garage it wasn't a night and day difference. On the road there's a big time difference.
