Default Quick headlight question

Before I go out and tear headlight apart anyone know right off hand what the newer touring bikes use for bulbs in the dual halogen headlight. I looked in owners manual and did a search on here with no luck.

H9 high

H11 low

most autoparts stores will have the H11 on the shelf.

H9 a little harder to find

the H9 can be used for low beam if you cut off a plastic tang with an exacto knife...that gives extra 10 watts on teh low beam.

BTW Buelligan666 is pretty happy with the fuelmoto LED conversion kit

Thanks Mike was just looking at the PIAA H11 LED bulb. Thinking about going LED myself even though the dual halogen is worlds above the headlight on my Super Glide.

Are you replacing due to bulb is out and is it still in warranty/under 2 years old?

I went to the Dealer Parts Dept for a high beam bulb, due to out on my Rushmore. They hadn't started stocking that new item yet, so had to order. Figured since I'd have to come back, I'd check with Service Dept to see if it would be warranty. They confirmed covered, so had them replace when the bulb arrived.

Just looking for a brighter low beam without breaking the bank. I don't do much night riding but when I do I like to see.

From everything I have read, with your current setup, the fuel moto option is pretty much the best setup you can install.
