Buddy and I were out riding all day today, just got home about 7:45 at about 35 degrees at home, much colder up in the mountains where we were riding. Stopped by one of my favorite dealerships and took a 16 RGU for a ride. This was about 2:00 and as we were pulling out for the test ride I asked what time they are closing. Salesman said 5:00 so I said try to be back by then, jokingly. He said no problem, I want you to go ride some twisty roads to see how it handles. Been wanting another Road Glide but had not planned to buy new. The bike is so far superior to the 05 I had I just can't wait to get one home. Quoted me an OTD price just over 26K. Don't think I will be able to hold out very much longer.

Didn't you just get your bike all tricked out? And have significant amounts of unemployment the last few years? Don't do it.

Stumbled into some money I forgot about, a 401K so was going to borrow from myself. Soon going to get the IRS off my back so as soon as that happens I will be serious about getting a new bike. And after having my Road King in rebuild for a year and a half I never want to be without a 2nd bike again.

Thanks and will keep both of these thoughts in mind. Have a couple other favorite dealers I like and have heard Stone Mountain dealer in Ga has really good prices. Not going to be too hasty, just really impressed at how comfortable this bike was with much improved handlebars. Shoot, they even finally got rid of the screen door hinges on the tour pack and like said, beats my 05 by a long shot.
