Default Portable jump starter

I am looking for one of those portable (small) jump starter boxes I can carry in my saddle bag. Is there one out there that is better than the others? I see a lot of them.

Thanks,

"Allstart"...I can"t say whether it"s better than others but it's what I have and so far it has jump a friends bike, my wife"s car and it has charged my phone several times...has worked everytime without an issue...came with a zipper soft bag that holds everyhing neatly.

Newest one and and it's awesome. Very small easy to use. And can do more then just jump start your bike.

I have the Antigravity also. It is a very cool thing and it does work very well. Paid about $75.00 from an on-line supplier. Get the smaller one. XP-3. Same starting power but without all of the charging accessories for electronics. It still has leads for all phones and ipads and such. The other stuff is not worth the extra money.

You can get a pigtail from Anti Gravity that has the same connection as the Battery Tender brand and some of it's competitors, heavy duty wire so you can jump and charge from the same connection, no uncovering the battery to jump it. Worth a few more bucks, lot of Harleys are a pita to get jumper clips on their batteries. I got a different brand before I heard about Anti Gravity, but plan to get one for the bikes and keep the first one in the car - and I've already found out it spins the car over just fine, let it sit too long this summer while I did all the errands with my sidecar rig.

I also got the Anti-Gravity XP-1, with the jumper cables that plug into the special harness. Very compact, great to have along on the scoot.

Just a caution to anyone getting one of these - disconnect them from the car/motorcycle battery quickly, leaving them on a running vehicle charging system will destroy them. You'll probably see a warning about this in the battery instructions. They'll handle the normal jump, not a problem as long as you know this. In cold weather, hook them up and wait about a half minute - there should be enough drain from the car/bike to warm them up a bit and they'll give a better jump. I suspect in a few years big lead acid jumper batteries will be history; these are so much better.
