I have in the past and recently. The older ones worked well with no early failures. The latest orders aren't fitting in the sockets tightly and disconnect easily. I have not taken the time to see what I can do to get a tighter secure fitting in the socket. Probably worth the extra bucks to get a name brand in the future. Walmart is now stocking LEDs at reasonable prices.
I installed a cheap LED light a couple of weeks ago that had a plug that fit the factory harness but was very loose. I plugged it in and put a tie wrap around both sides of the connectors so it couldn't come apart.
I had to cut the same tie wrap when the light didn't work correctly as it was wired wrong from the factory.
you could always but a dab of adhesive silicone at the joint of the connections in a couple spots, let it cure and it should be fine.
I learned when you buy the cheap stuff you end up buying it again or something quality to replace it when it goes out. I hate pissin my hard earned and little to spare $$ so I wait and get the good stuff.
