Are all service manuals the same?
Are any of the service manuals more comprehensive then some others? Is the one sold by the dealer adequate? It sure seems Harley is losing out on a bunch of meny making these things available.

i have both the clymers and HD one as well, the clymers has been open once the HD has notes and dog ears all in it. best 58 bucks i have spent on the bike

Buy the HD manual, note and tips in there that aren't in the others. As with any manual, there are a few clinkers to deal with but overall, it is spot on accurate.

Thanks guys.My goal is to make last weeks 5,000 mile service at the dealer the one and only time I take it there. Service was actually pretty good but too damn much money. Besides, how better to really get to know your bike.
