After reading the thread on Kutters I did some online shopping for some chrome lowers. Best price by far was from these folks - $455 out the door. Had it sent out same day (3 day priority), and have been great about contacting me.
Nothing but good to say about them so far!
Also, I've done business twice now with OEM Cycles out of Tennessee. They've gotten some bad reviews, but again I've had nothing but good service...
Even with a painted part, like the fairing vent, Boardtracker was still perfect in the transaction. I've spent way more than anticipated simply because they're a sure bet to deal with.
I bought a set of take offs (2014) off ebay - $45 then had local do the chrome $175 - you should be able to do about the same?
the Chrome lower kit form harley comes with more then just a set of Chrome lowers, comes with the cowbells, fork seals, spacers, axle covers, drain sure, etc.
