Who makes a good enclosed trailer
A buddy and I are looking at buying an enclosed trailer to haul 2 or maybe 3 bikes to Arizona from Iowa to stay with a friend. We also have relation in Florida and would like to do Daytona sometime. This is all during our winter months, so that is the reason for the trailer. Any suggestions for a good trailer? looking to go all aluminum, and not sure what size, 90% of the time it would be hauling a street glide and a Dyna switch back. Lets see some pictures and suggestions on brands and sizes.

Since your in iowa like me, and if you're near des moines, I'd look at Legends trailers. Very well built, all aluminum, torsion suspension, led lighting and optioned however you like. There is a dealer called Brown Motor Cars right off of i80 at 2nd avenue.
I'm looking at one of theirs currently. Also I own an H&H trailer I use for my business. I like it thus far. I've had it 3 years and bought it used.

I've owned a good number of trailers, for the bikes, goose hunting, work....
My favorite so far is United Trailers, it's what I currently have, and am very pleased with.
I will never buy another Haulmark so long as I live. Not that they're a BAD trailer, just way over-priced for what you get.
I wanted a Renegade all aluminum, aluminum floor with flush built in chocks, frame, everything, never bought one.
Here's my current, I've hauled 2 all over the country, from snow country to Daytona, Appalachia to South Texas to Montana...

I would strongly suggest:
2 axles
brakes
I have seen dozens of wrecked trailers over the years- most of the wrecks were caused by a flat tire/ wheel bearing OR by the tow vehicle braking and the trailer continuing forwards.
in both cases it is possible for the trailer to get sideways
when hauling anything- the driver controls forward and lateral speeds ( turns) what you can't control is braking speeds- panic stops...plan a worst case scenario like a 75 MPH stop on a freeway ...make sure that all the tires help to stop and that the trailer weight doesn't push you into an obstacle or turn you sideways and rolling. and that anything carried is secure from pushing forward.
a trailer with 3 bikes can be 5000 pounds pushing forwards...
