should fit perfectly from what I have researched, those are the same brand I am looking at if u would post how u like them once u have received them. I really like this way better than the extra bracket for the hd brand. I am just concerned why hd didn't use the back rest bracket to begin with $$$$$$$$$
did u add the tour pak mounting bracket or is it attached to the backrest bracket
The mounting bracket (HD 4-point docking hardware) is separate and you'll need that specific year for your bike ('97-'08). There is an HD detachable conversion kit for your bike which has that mounting bracket and the tour pak mount rack - HD part # 53303-07.

I have a detachable forward tour pak bracket in chrome like you're looking for. The only problem is it's cantilevered out so far it vibrated the girlfriends back so much she'd talk funny. I purchased the rear docking station to use a detachable rack along with a detachable backrest and ordered a rear mount for my tour pak.

that is the one I am trying to get away from. it is functional I just dont like the triangle sticking out behind the bags
