Question for those of you who frequently have a rider sitting behind you...
As some one who is overly conscious about headlights being adjusted too high, where do you have your headlight adjusted?
Do you adjust it with only your weight on the bike and not worry about blinding others with the higher aim when you have a rider? Or do you adjust it low for when you have a rider's extra weight on the rear suspension?
... It would sure be nice if there were such a thing as a 3-way headlight (low/med/high) to address this.
If you find your headlight high or low because you may or may not have a passenger on, it only takes a minute to adjust the rear suspension to compensate.
Like the OP, I am hyper conscience to blinding oncoming motorists. Mainly because I run high power, super illegal bulbs. That being said, cause my headlight is pretty much dialed in on low beam, as long as I pump up the air shocks to compensate for the wife, the beam does not seem to raise enough to cause any issues to fellow motorists. At least I can't remember anyone ever flashing at me just cause the wife hopped on. All I notice is the low beam just hits the road a bit further away.
