Default Lowered Glide

Has anyone used a lowering kit (1 1/2) with 1 " lowered air shocks, if so did it work. I have both right now, want to go to air system but do not have the funds for now.

Yep,
I have the HD touring low air shock and a 1 1/4" lowering block and it works fine. The sig pic does not have the lowering blocks installed. I run 30 lbs in the shocks and have no issues with bottoming out. Still not exactly what i want so Platinum Air system from Shooter next year!

Have 1 1\2 - 2 1\2" lowering cams on the lower level... Needed to jack the Air Shock to stop from bottoming out (ride 80% 2-up) - Did care for the ride (TO DANG HARD) so moved it upto the 1 1\2" drop and still a needed a little more air then stock settings but got a good ride and no bottoming out even when loaded & 2-up... & handles great!
If I was to do it again I would (and still might) go with the Progressive 440 on the rear as I have Progressive lowering ft springs already installed

i ran that setup for a while, but didn't like the ride that the low profile shocks gave. it waslike driving a tank, so the shocks left and i got a low profile seat. now,all is right with the world.

Just got the video ride like a pro. Liked what I saw however the thought did come to mind, anyone with lowered bikes try these exercises? If so wherer you able to lean them like that. I know mine will scrape now and then as it is. Lowered 1" in front,1" low profile shocks in rear.

i took the msf course, long after i lowered the bike. however, mine is only lowered in the rear. i'm not that aggressive when i ride, slow in the turns, i don't ever think i've dragged the bags or mufflers. i'm kust tnot in that big of a hurry to get places and leave with plenty of time to drive safe. sorry i can't be any more help than that.

My Road Glide is stock height and I scrape the floor boards every now and then. Couldn't imagine lowering it. [&:]

Rob.... Check out E-Bay (harley lowering)... There meny different ones... i have the R.U.B. adjustable lowering cams you can set it for -1 1\2 or -2 1\2"... 2 1\2" drop riding 2-up on my RG needed to jack the air in the rear shocks (60lbs) Solo (35lbs) Handles and look good but the ride on back roads sucks!
