My '16 has no issues with wobble.

Bottom line is this, some have it and some don't. Which means the ones that don't have wobble are different than the ones that do. Why they are different is the question.

I've been using the Progressive Touring Link, no complaints and relatively inexpensive. My 09 Road King and my 11 Limited both would or could develop a wobble/oscillation in high speed sweepers; usually above 85 mph. It's been said already 99% have no issues but when pushed you'll find out the handling limitations of any vehicle. 99% of the time I don't have any issues, but I've never owned a bike that didn't benefit from some type of suspension work.

+1. Find the real problem and get it repaired. A wobble at the speeds OP posted need a competent mechanic not an after market gizmo.

I think I'm just going to put this in the same category as the buffeting issue. There are people that have the problem and spend a ton of money on new windshields and all sorts of deflectors, me being one of them. And then there are the ones who have never experienced the wobbling of your head so bad it causes blurred vision and headaches. These guys say " It's a motorcycle, you're gonna get wind. Suck it it up and ride." Those guys don't say that it's a defect from HD. You're just lucky enough that you started out with the right combination of things that fits you. This wobble I agree is a worse scenario and shouldn't happen, but it does because of the rubber mounts and things not lining up at certain times in a curve. There are too many bikes having the exact same problem and I'm sure they all don't have the "exact same underlying issue". I don't want to spend $400 on a gizmo to maybe fix the problem. I've just learned to ride careful and know the limits.

I've never got it that bad to where the whole bike wobbled. Atleast not to where I could tell. But i do feel like the back tire is doing that. Kinda feels like that back tire is on ice and slides an inch or two or the axle nuts are loose and just wobbles a little bit. I,ve never really gone that fast into a curve because I know it does it when going slower.

Wise words! Especially for Harleys, across the range.

Then you're missing out on an improved riding experience! Compared with so much that we Harley owners blow out on, that is dirt cheap, for a major handling improvement.

Agreed. I probably will. I just wanted to hear from someone that it would make a difference on the newer frame like mine. I see it helped a lot on the older ones.

Rob, read the link I gave earlier, there's a good chap - it explains the rubber mount system and why a stabilizer is a useful addition.

Love how the guys that have a newer bike try to rationalize it, LOL It is a fact that is can and does happen to all newer bikes. If it doesn't happen to you, then you've never ridden it in a manner to load the rubber mounting laterally. So you can stick your head in the sand all you want but it doesn't change the facts.
