Does anyone have a picture of them sitting on their road glide with 16" or 18" carlini ganster apes? I'm 5'11 and want to get as tall as possible to my shoulders without going over.
I'm 6'4" and I ran 16" Gangsters (which are closer to 17's per Carlini). My arms were straight out. Being 5'11", even the 16's are probably going to put your arms above your shoulders.
I am going to buy a new rode glide and trying to see if anyone has a picture with 16 or 18
As HappyDan said too, seat height makes all the difference as well. If you don't have the bike yet, it's going to be a tough call. Try the dealer. If they have one on the floor, they can help you as you're sitting on it. My advice is get the bike first and ride it around and get used to it and what you feel you want for comfort. Apes aren't for everyone. That's why I don't run apes anymore, they just didn't work for me. Good luck!!
I've been looking at Namz web site. There are a few different wire harnesses for my bike. I'm guessing one is extension, one is an entire replacement harness and one is for the throttle by wire. Which one or two do I need??
Also the new TBW unit that you get from HD for easier installation, does Namz have one of those too??

Give them a call and ask. I'm pretty sure their number is on their website
I am 5' 9" and when I sit on my stock seat, my 14" Ganster Apes are a little lower then at my shoulders. Maybe 1". Their bars measure higher than what they say. So my 14" are really 15". So 16 are going to be 17" and 18" are going to be close to 19".
