I'd like to hear from anyone running the 12" 416 Air Shocks? How do they ride? How do they compare to the harley 12" shocks. I want to lower my road king classic but I'm thinking that the harley low profile shockswill make the ride too stiff.

Don't go with the HD low-profile (12") shocks, trust me. They're fine 'til you hit a bump, and you may come sailing off the seat when you do--really harsh on anything except small bumps. I'm about to upgrade them on my SG, and am looking into Progressive 440's, either 12" or 12½".
I'm thinking about going with Progressive's 440 - was considering the 11 1\2" as I like as low as I can go - But the Tech from Progressive recommemds the 12" ????? - I have already installed the progressive Ft Lowering Springs 1 1\4" as currently using a lowering cam on the rear -2 1\2" and have to pump up the rear shock so not to bottom out riding 2-up???
