I believe the trike belt is wider.

Ok......so called baker. Their gear is $206. And Mark told me "DO NOT! use anything other than Gates 139 tooth belt." And that I'd be sorry.......

Agree, Bates. Being able to use factory belt adds a ton of value.

Forget the whole deal!!!!

Guy says I should look into changing compensater and chain. Ratio would be a little lower at 3.10. Or something like that. He's just not a fan of gear changes.or aftermarket belts. Too much work for the money.

Now the guy has talked me into stage 1.5 heads. 105/115 +/-......*** it......he's coming to pick it up.

I had two indies try and talk me out of the 30T mod. I ended up doing it myself. It's not rocket science, but I can see why they would probably prefer "lighter" work, day in and day out. The Carbon Fiber belts are crap but I've never heard of any issues with the Gates Poly Chain. At the end of the day, I would definitely do this mod again. It cured most of the lazy bottom end of the 555 cams.

I really don't think the laziness is in the cams, you've got a 107" done up by FM yes? I truly believe its due to the pseudo tuning device you've chosen. I'm not tryin to start a fight, but I've got 9f cams(with 32/68) and it is anything but lazy. So unless your ccp is lower than I'd expect FM to build into a kit with 555 cams, i'd look at the tune or the lack therof.

To the last comment.....I guess it depends on were you come from?

A top fuel drag racer wouldn't think a 107" has any nuts at all. But then again, guy comes off a 500cc and thinks he's in wonderland.

I could see a guy with a 107" 555, not being happy. Happens all the time.

The trill only lasts about a month.......

Well dug around in the spare parts. Came up with a new swingarm from a trike conversion .
I guess I will toss it in the mill and open up slots. So if read rite .200 longer on slot? Bigger wheel going on so I think I might have to go 1.125 belt.
