Chirping Rinehart True Duals
I put Rinehart True Duals on my 07 RKC and they put out a high-pitched chirp. The chirping is pretty loud and sometimes goes away. The tech guy at Bub said this happens now and then and they suggest that I buy quieter baffles to make the chirping livable! Any body else out there experience this?

I've heard this talked about before. If I remember right someone was saying to use some WD40 on the rubber mount under the bags where the mufflers hang that this will sometimes make that type of noise. If that doesnt do it I would double check all your connections to make sure you dont have an exhaust leak.

Mine SE touring muffs chirp, rattle and buzz too. For the ongest time I thorugh it was the liscense plate. I've had that thing off a dozen times and right now has about 20 of those little green felt pads all of the back of it. Turns out its the muffs. I'll try the WD40 thing.

I remember in another thread someone saying something about taking out baffles and hitting a notch in the end to take them just slightly out of round.

My pipes are doing this also. The service tech at the dealership I frequent says he thinks he can adjust the baffles so that sound may go away. I think I am going to take them out and give it a try myself.
