Fuel Sender Issue
Evening all!
The fuel gauge on my 2002 Road King (carb'd) stopped working today so this evening I went through some diags (as per the manual) and it pointed to the sender.
Pulled the unit from the tank and basically the little clip washer that holds the plastic piece with the contacts on the float shaft had worked it's way down so the contacts weren't sitting on the pcb. Managed to adjust and push the clip back down and now its all good, but not sure how long it'll last.
Checked Jersey HD in the UK and the sender is 140 quid!! Anyone else had the same issue and found a fix?
