Default Yaffe one piece riser clamp

I asked a few days ago about replacing my handlebar bushings, and someone mentioned the Yaffe one piece clamp. Someone else said that it interfered with the ignition switch cover. If you have one installed I'd like to hear your reviews. http://baggernation.com/item.php?iid=75

I have one and I do not remember any interference with the fairing ignition cover. With the thicker bars its more difficult getting the cover back in, but its do able. Just make sure the rubber pieces are properly positioned, there are little "****" that the rubber pieces fit onto to properly position them.

I'm confused, and don't see any rubber pieces included with the clamp.

Not with the clamp, the side rubber pieces on the ignition cover part. Sorry, should have clarified. The rubber goes around the bars, at each end of the fairing cover. When you look at that cover you will see them. The 1 1/4" bars are a tighter fit.

Oh, ok cool. I'm not doing bars, just fixing the slop in my stockers from yanking it out of the wheel chock.

When I did my bars I bought the drag one piece clamp. I had to have it milled down to clear the ignion switch housing cover.

Harley makes a top clamp for this application, it even has shorter bolt heads to gain clearance.
