OK I just removed the fairing bra on my UC. I can not figure how to get the top trim ring spring back into the top slot and then attach it to the ring.
Guess I am just stupid. Any help will be appreciated.
Nellybelle,
The spring should stay in the trim ring. It looks like a ***** "WW , yes? I have trouble on my wife's 01. Lot's of folk will tell one to put in the bottom screw and just push in the top ; bends the crap outta the spring and it don't stay on right.I have to twist the rascal a little to one side or the other, rotate the trim ring with the spring installed, and then rotate it till is clicks in place. One can see it through the trim ring if you pull the lower side out a litte. That's the only way I can get her's on correctly.
