Swapped out for the daymakers today and got a ride in. The static is gone. Waiting to see how well they work at night. My speedometer decided to stop working so it cut my ride short.

 

Did you go with the Reflector or the Projector?

 

Sounds like a poorly grounded antenna.

 

Went projector. Dealer had a killer deal on one that they had for a while. It's a older model and they just wanted to get rid of it.

Ranger I checked all grounds and connections. Took the truck lites out and static went away. Have no interference with daymakers so the trucklites caused the problem.

 

I wonder if you ran a direct ground wire?
Oh, and I've got the 5 3/4" Projector. Works great. I could probably remove the spots as the side to side illumination is pretty good.

 

Ive had my TL7 for over 10k miles now. No issues with radio interference at all.

 

Here's a workaround....stream your radio station on your phone

 

I do but sometimes my rides aren't long enough for that.

 

I have HD reflectors on my 2013 FLHTK. Love them no radio issues
