My 07 Road King Custom chirps when I initially get on the throttle. Took it to the dealer and they said they didn't know what it was. I asked if was the belt and they said no. Let me know when you figure it out. I was thinking clutch.
My Exhaust mount rubber bushings squeek and chirp like crazy, I have tried everything from spray on silicone to dry graphite. and Ideas on something that might work for more than 15 minutes ? i guess I never thought about buying new ones in case these are worn out and sloppy.

You mean the rubber pieces in the brackets out at the end of the mufflers under the bags?
I stick a penny or two inbetween the rubber and the metal bracket. Keeps it from chirping at idle.
Yeah what you said, them are Da ones, so a penny will stay in there and not fall out? I would hate to have some poor SOB behind me get a penny in the face. thanks for the 2 cents worth, hahahaha one for each side,
To stop the muffler squeek I took the bracket off and put a thick layer of silicone grease on the top of it and reinserted it. I got the one ounce contaier of grease from Home Depot in the faucet repair parts section.
