Default 07 FLH intake question

Ok Guys, a question for you.

I just installed a stage one set up from FuelMoto today and while doing the intake, discovered a sensor on the bottom of the stock backing plate. The K&N backing plate has no place to mount this sensor, and has no mention of it in the directions. Does anyone happen to know what it is, and what am I supposed to do with it? Thanks.

And just in case you ask, I installed Super Trapp SE mufflers, a PC III, and a K&N intake. Took a short ride when finished, and it looks like Jamie at FuelMoto hit the map right on the money. One very happy camper.

UltraCla$$ic, thank you very much. A bit more than I asked for, but great info. I appreciate your sending me my sign.

[sm=icon_cheers.gif]no problem

I used a wire hanger fromthe Auto partsstorethat allowed me to "cradle" the wire and attach it to a screw on the backside of the Stage I air cleaner back plate at the exact location as the factory backplate. Works like a charm, also keeps it out of the throttle body since some just shove the wire up in there and leave it.

Zip-tied it to one of the mounts of the SE A/C .... keeps it out of the way.
