So I bought my first HD this winter. I've been cleaning it of and prepping it for the season. It was warmer last week and the roads were clear enough for me to take it around my neighborhood. There were a couple of drops of oil on the ground. (not much) I looked and saw my oil pan had some oil on it too. I wiped some of it off and I've been trying to figure out if there's been an oil leak issue with this engine in particular. The leak loosk like it's in between the engine and the transmission but the front of the oil pan has oil on it too. Has anyone else had this issue? Are there any suggestion? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's a 2008 electraglide Standard, it has over 42000 miles. The leak looks like there's oil around the oil pan but only in the front. I'm not 100% sure.

I use brake cleaner to clean up the bottom of the engine then ride it to make more oil leak so I can determine where it is coming from.
Sometimes it's just a bit left over from an oil change.
Harley Davidsons haven't "leaked" since the 90's. They now have gaskets in the machined mating surfaces. Assuming it's an '08, than the leak could be anything. Not enough info. What repairs have been done, and by whom. Compensators are junk and require the removal of the inner primary.
