Original Bike Spirits is the same formulation as the old Honda Spray cleaner. It is good for removing bugs, and waxing the bike.
I wash my bike the same way I wash my car. Two buckets, one with car wash soap, one with rinse water, and microfiber cloths. If I'm feeling ambitious I'll use Mothers Carnuba wax, otherwise Original Bike Spirits.
I blame S100 for etching the Aluminum on my Vulcan 750, so I don't use it. YMMV.
For "wet" washing:
Mothers total car wash and S100 if the engine bay is really grimy
For "dry" washing:
JaxWax Hawaiian shine and/or Honda cleaner (yes that's what it's called). These two cleaner/polishes are pretty perfect to me. Quick drying and easily removed on paint, chrome, and glass.
For actual metal polishing I use mothers mag polish.
S100, let it soak, wash it off [rinse] blow dry with leaf blower, quick wax with......um a detail wax i can remember the name, fuking wax i think thats the name, really, i use it on the chrome, paint and plastic a quick detailer
I am also a big fan of Optimum products , David was involved with designing clear coats for the automotive industry before opening up his Optimum company. I use his compounds , spray wax , no rinse etc...GREAT products.

Very true. When a guy helps in the design of clear coats, safe bet he knows how to take care of it. I have used almost their whole line and each product has been top notch
All I have ever used and will use are Mothers and Meguiars products on my cars and bikes.
For over the counter stuff, not much better offered. M205 is a good polish that a lot of guys like, very versatile and you can use many different pads with it to effect the cut. It does leave a "oily" residue behind after being wiped off. I have found it more difficult then other polishes to totally remove. This isn't such a big deal if you are only going to put a wax or sealant on. However, with the new coatings that are out the paint need to be 100% clean of any residue or it will compromise the longevity of the coating.
M105 is a high cutting compound that removes paint defects fast. Big drawback to to m105 is that if you don't have a lot of experience with it it will dust like no other compound. It goes everywhere! Older technology that still works, but there is better compounds out now.
