Very happy with new numbers
So first some background.
Bought 08 Ultra last year. Previous owner had Stage 1 intake, SE slip ons, 103 kit, and V&H fuelpak.
I learned later that they did the exhaust, intake, and fuelpak early on. Then later he had the 103 put in.
Performance was not right, fouled plugs, it just showed me that it wasn't tuned properly somehow.
Fast forward to last week. Had V&H slipons put on to replace SE crappy ones. Had V&H fuelpak removed. Purchased the SERT and had them dyno it to make sure it is set correctly.
I was blown away when they showed me the sheet.
before = 76.64HP 93.01Tq
after = 90.24HP 108.12Tq
The sheet even shows the air/fuel and the before line is wavy and unsteady. The after line is straight and even.
Now I really want spring. Supposed to be almost 60 and sunny here tomorrow. I am getting some seat time.

This is why you have to wonder what previous owners have done to their bikes when motor work and tuning is involved. I am overly picky about that stuff but others I have talked to on a local level especially seem to half *** it for the sake of a few bucks. They seem to have a friend that has been wrenching on HD's for 20 years despite the nuances with the newer motors and EFI tuners.
Glad to hear you got it sorted out. Those are great numbers and from the sounds of it they got the fuel/air side figured out. The only thing that might crop up when you start riding it in summer temps would be the timing. That might lead to some pinging which is no big deal to fix. I am crossing my fingers for warmer weather and the salt to be washed off as well...

Has 255 cam in it.
It actually got up to 60 here yesterday so I took it out. It is a whole new machine. The response is incredible compared to before. of course I woke up this morning to snow everywhere. Gotta love SD weather.
