I am having a issue with my security system. I was trying to retrieve the 5 digit code using the hand controls but it seems that some how i locked myself out of the system. I have 2 key fobs with the center button. Both have new batteries. The red key light is flashing. When i turn the bike on the turn signals flash like crazy. The key fobs work but no matter what the system will not disarm. I am trying to reset the turn signal module to no avail. I just got the bike a week ago and am waiting for the hd repair manual to show up. I have tried all the reset procedures i can find on line but nothing seems to work. Please help. Thanks, eddie
Doesn't sound right. If you have the key fobs, you should only have to press the button twice to disarm the alarm.
When you say you turned the bike on, are you saying you started the motor?
What I am having a hard time understanding is why all the turn signals flash for about 15 seconds and I cant even get to the proper screen to enter the security code. Everything was working fine until i tried to access the security system to retrieve the original code. I thought that with the key fobs you should be able to access the code than change it. I cant even reach that screen.
I also just discovered that the lights are flashing because the alarm is going off. Without touching anything, just lifting bike off side stand the lights start too flash. i can use the fob to reset alarm but the bike still is locked out.
