You will need at least a stage 1 tune, and stage 1 aircleaner and sell me the slip ons real cheap since I was first to respond. The slips ons won't work with the headers, you will need 2" muffler inlets.
These are Chrome headers only! Any after market slip-on mufflers with 1 3/4" inlet will fit these headers!
Rinehart offers their value-minded Slimline Duals System for the rider who swaps mufflers for a different look and sound. Since the Slimlines use factory headpipe size, they mean your choices for mufflers are wide open - you can run the Slimline Duals, or switch out to many popular factory or aftermarket offerings constructed to work with factory equipment. Available in an array of finishes, Slimline Duals represent a hefty dose of value - there's a lot of pipe here for the money. Rinehart makes good power and torque without busting the budget, and allows you to mix and match mufflers and head pipes.
-Increased horsepower and torque vs. stock Harley-Davidson exhaust systems
-Features a bold and aggressive look that can only be from Rinehart Racing
-More Muscle, More Choices, Sleeker Styling
-Designed and built in the U.S.A.
These are new-in-box, unopened header pipes. They come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Fitment: Fits 2009 - Later Touring models. For use with 3.5" or 4" slip-on exhaust pipes with 1 3/4" inlet
I honestly don't think you'll notice much difference between the 2 tunes. The 09 headers are open ( no cat) and going to the slim line won't change the exhaust flow very much at all. Especially not enough for a generic lean dealer download. Absolute waste of time and money on the dealer download. I would look into some type of fuel management system whether it be a piggy back style or flash style. All dependent on any future mods you have planned. You'd be money ahead IMO.
