12" Monkey Bars on order with cable and wire kit. Can anyone tell me if the cables/wires actually need to be extended?
How difficult is the cable change? Planning to do this myself.
The dealer put my bars on & said there was 1 wire that they needed & that it was $30, after they installed the bars I offered to pay the $30 & they told me not to worry about it. So I don't know if they put it on & are just ok with it since I spent so much $ or if they actually didn't need it.
I'm looking at doing a set of Monkey bars on a Road Glide and am wondering if the height they advertise is true. I've been told they measure a bit taller than advertised. I'm leaving toward a 12" but I only run a 10" on my Street Glide (I know they are different bars) and was just looking for some feedback from those that are running them.
Thanks!
Their nice bars...I would think the monkey bars might measure differently than the Bagger bars...I ended up going with 14" 1.5 bars from factory 47. The "Assault" bars I bought have a slight bend to them for Fairing clearances, but they do offer bars similar to the PY Monkey bars...Think it's their "Malo" bars.
My 14" bars are actually 13" according to the measurements, so the 12" they offer would be 11". Might be a good fit, check out their site, and can't beat the look of a 1.5 inch bar!
You say you love the 10" Yaffe's ? Im wondering if a 10" would be right for me , Im 5'10" with a road king and looking for monkey bar and
wanting my arms shoulder height . The salesman at Yaffe is talking me into 12" even if they are closer to 14" so Im not sure what to do. any help ,helps.
