They don't use salt around here its that liquid sodium solution so as long as the roads are dry no biggie. Two good days for riding then 2 days of potentially flooding rain to clean the roads off for good. The older i get the more i hate winter.

The ride went great. Did have to loop around at end of ride due to seeing wet salt on other side of road when I went to get some fresh gas

Got our first good ride in yesterday 250 miles. Vernal UT to Meeker Colorado for lunch. Started 10 am high 40's snow on prairie and hills, the White River was still froze over in most spots. As soon as we passed Rio Blanco Lake it warmed to 55. Came home through Maybell CO and hit elevations around 7000 ' . I'd like to give a shout out to the Gerbings family, your jacket liner kept me warm. Today it's raining, washing more salt off the roads.

Got new tires & brake pads installed on the Sportster today and went for a lil' ride, temps were about 50°. Felt great!

It's been a 'mild' winter in NC, so both bikes have gotten lots of saddle time. Took the King out yesterday in the high 50s. Gonna be in the mid-70s all this week, so I'm already thinking of excuses to leave work early.

Rode around town yesterday in Illinois. 50 degrees and sunny. Had to check to see if new gauges were working.
