In West Texas we're used to seeing the weather change, but this is just nuts!
Friday it was 84-87 degrees, depending on which bank clock you trust, and yesterday it was 77 when we decided to go run the "100 mile loop" and by the time we got back to town 2 hours later (we stopped a few times!) the temp had dropped 15 degrees. Today we wake up to 31 with freezing rain and sleet mixed, and supposed to stay like this all day before being back in the 50's tomorrow and the high 60's Tuesday!
At least you guys up north know it's gonna be cold. Down here Mother Nature is just a tease!
I'd take that this time of year, better then the 9 degrees I'm seeing right now. This winter, it hasn't gotten warm enough to melt ANY snow, it just keeps adding 2 to 4" at a time, not even enough to warrant using a snowblower. You want a tease, the sun is shining as I'm sitting here, thinking maybe it's not too bad outside, but when I open the door to go get the Sunday paper, I just know there will be a reminder that spring is quite a ways away. Come summertime, I'll maybe have some sympathy for you with the high temps, just maybe.

Yep, that's the trade off...the heat.
It's the price those of us in the south pay for a riding season that never stops, just kinda slows down.
snowing real nice right now. I just fired up the ole 4wd and blazed to the store to get Copenhagen and food didn't have a problem at all driving but that's a different story when there is ice involved.no matter if you have a 10 wheel drive.
