Switching Tins

I have the opportunity to switch the the tins on my 2009 street glide that is the sunglo red with those of a 2013 street glide that is vivid black. Condition wise the 2013 show a little less wear and tear than mine but there are no major issues with either set.

What do you think is a good price? The person that has the 2013 tins will be doing the work to switch the tins.

I've had Sunglo Red and Vivid black. I would keep the red. Black is so "me too".

Agreed. Spend the money on wheels or powder coat some goodies. Enforcer take offs change the look a lot.

The rear fenders are different, the 09 has the square taillight and the 13 doesn't. You would need to paint your rear fender.

i had vivid black on my 07 FLSTF. The tank needed waxing after each ride. Just looking at it and you'd swear there was a swirl or smudge that would appear, and a dust magnet.
